Mirror pilot
Pilot Terms
These plain-language terms describe the current invite-only Mirror pilot. They are not a nondisclosure agreement: they protect individual access and privacy without asking participants to keep Mirror secret.
Effective October 15, 2026 · Version 2026-10-15
1. About this pilot
Mirror is an experimental personal reflection tool offered by Pragmatic Artistry Collective. It helps adults capture lived experience, reflect with or without artificial intelligence, and notice possible patterns over time.
By agreeing at pilot entry, you accept these Pilot Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Notice.
2. Adults only
You must be at least 18 years old and able to agree to these terms. Youth-related screens in Mirror are design previews, not a live service for minors.
3. Reflection, not care or crisis response
Mirror is not therapy, medical or mental-health care, diagnosis, treatment, professional advice, crisis response, or emergency monitoring. No person continuously monitors what you write. Do not rely on Mirror to identify or respond to danger.
AI responses and pattern suggestions are optional possibilities, not facts or professional judgments. You remain the authority over what fits your experience. If you may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or a trusted person who can be physically present.
4. Your writing and your choices
You retain ownership of the writing and other material you create. Readable reflections stay in the current browser by default. You decide whether to save, revise, export, delete, use AI, create an encrypted backup, enable account continuity, or intentionally share something.
When you deliberately choose a feature that needs processing outside the browser, you authorize Mirror and the relevant service provider to process only the material needed for that feature. Mirror names that boundary before the action.
5. Optional AI
Solo Reflection does not use AI. AI features are optional and identify what will be sent before anything moves. Selected material is processed through OpenAI with stored response history disabled. OpenAI says API data is not used to train its models by default, though ordinary abuse-monitoring data may be retained for up to 30 days.
Do not include another person’s private information unless you have permission to do so.
6. Pilot access
- Your access code is personal. Do not publish or share it.
- Codes may have browser limits or expiration dates. A signed browser session normally lasts up to 30 days.
- Mirror may pause or end access to protect participants, investigate a problem, or close the pilot.
- Ending access does not automatically erase writing already stored in your browser or a backup you created.
7. Responsible use
Do not use Mirror to violate another person’s rights, gain unauthorized access, interfere with the service, distribute malicious code, or submit material you are not entitled to process. Access to another person’s device or code is not permission to read their reflections.
8. Feedback and confidentiality
Feedback is optional. You never need to disclose what you wrote in Mirror. If you deliberately submit feedback, Pragmatic Artistry Collective may review and use it to operate and improve Mirror under the Privacy Notice.
These terms do not create a nondisclosure agreement or require you to keep Mirror confidential. They do require you to protect your access code and respect other people’s privacy.
9. An experimental service
Mirror is provided as an early pilot and may contain errors, change, become unavailable, or lose compatibility with a browser. Features may be added, limited, paused, or removed. Keep an encrypted backup if losing browser-local writing would matter to you, and do not use Mirror as the only copy of information you need to preserve.
Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be limited.
10. Changes and leaving
Mirror versions these terms. If a change materially affects participation, privacy, or data use, Mirror will identify the new version and ask you to agree again before continuing.
You may stop using Mirror at any time. You can delete local entries, clear browser storage, export an encrypted backup, or contact the pilot team about server-held pilot data.
